Dumbfounded Theatre is a young company committed to the rediscovery of neglected work by outstanding European writers. Led by Mark Rosenblatt (Artistic Director) and Neil Laidlaw (Producer) Dumbfounded Theatre was founded in 2001 by Mark Rosenblatt and Emma Stenning (now Executive Producer at BAC).

Its first production was a revival of CP Taylor’s Bread and Butter at London’s Southwark Playhouse. It’s success led to a sell out revival which toured Scotland. In 2004 Bread and Butter transferred to London’s Tricycle Theatre and was highly acclaimed.
